When buying in the United Kingdom, you usually need one of two things: a local delivery address or someone to collect from the seller. This determines the service, information required and the purchase’s entire journey to Lithuania.
First question: who will deliver the item in the UK?
If the seller or their courier can deliver within the UK, you will usually only need EcoTrip’s shopping address. If the listing is collection-only or handover needs arranging with the seller, you need an item collection service.
This distinction matters before payment. A UK address is not a promise that we can collect any purchase from any location, and collection is more than simply providing an address.
Choose the shopping address when buying yourself
The shopping address suits customers who choose the item, pay the seller and arrange delivery to the EcoTrip UK receiving point given during registration. The seller delivers there; EcoTrip identifies the owner using the supplied details and arranges onward transport to Lithuania.
- The seller delivers to the selected UK address.
- You pay for the item directly.
- You provide your first name, surname and the seller’s tracking number.
- Once you receive the tracking number, register the shipment with EcoTrip before it arrives.
Use only the current address and instructions provided during registration. An address from an earlier order, message or screenshot may be outdated.
Choose collection when the seller does not deliver
Collection is needed when an item is sold as ‘collection only’, is held by a private seller or cannot be shipped normally. We first assess the seller’s location, handover times, item size, weight and loading conditions.
If you need help paying the seller, the method and limits must be confirmed individually before sending money or committing to buy. Standard collection is not a technical inspection or quality guarantee. Tell us in advance if you need specific photos or an agreed inspection.
