The address service is free. If needed, we can help buy the item; commission depends on whose funds are used to pay the seller.

Commission is calculated in the agreed payment currency. The item and transport are paid separately. EcoTrip funds can cover an item worth up to GBP 250; customer funds received in advance can cover up to GBP 3,000. The purchase and payment must be agreed beforehand.
The final amount payable and applicable VAT are confirmed during booking or in your quotation.

What to know about buying
Can EcoTrip pay the seller?
Yes, by prior agreement. We can buy an item worth up to GBP 250 using EcoTrip funds, or up to GBP 3,000 using funds received from the customer in advance. Agreed commission and transport charges are added to the item price. Do not send money or commit to the seller before receiving EcoTrip’s confirmation.
Does EcoTrip negotiate with the seller?
You first agree the item price, condition and main terms of sale. Before collection, we agree which matters EcoTrip will discuss with the seller.
Do you check the item’s condition?
Standard collection is not a technical inspection or a seller’s warranty. We photograph the item’s condition; a more detailed check must be discussed in advance. When buying from a private seller, agree the sale and return conditions separately.
What items can you collect?
We assess feasibility based on the item type, size, weight, collection location and transport rules. Show us large, expensive or unusual purchases before paying.
How is this different from the UK shopping address?
The shopping address suits purchases you make yourself when the seller can deliver to EcoTrip’s UK address. This service is for cases where buying or collecting locally also needs arranging.
