Smooth transport starts before the vehicle arrives. The more accurately a shipment is described in advance, the easier it is to reserve space, plan collection and avoid last-minute decisions.
1. Record the shipment’s actual size
Count every package, measure its length, width and height, and weigh it or estimate the weight as accurately as possible. For furniture, appliances or non-standard items, add a photo. One clear image often says more than a long description.
2. Pack for safe transport
The box must withstand lifting, movement in the vehicle and handover to the recipient. Fill gaps, protect corners and pack liquids and small parts separately. Nothing should hang loosely from the packaging.
3. Provide sender and recipient contact details
Provide the sender and recipient, exact addresses, phone numbers with country codes and access information. A gate code, restricted access or an upper floor without a lift can change the delivery plan, so mention it in advance.
4. Agree unusual items in advance
We do not accept perishable goods or other items prohibited by the transport rules. Before booking, check whether liquids, batteries and other sensitive loads can be carried. If unsure, send a description and photo to the EcoTrip team first. One extra question before departure is better than a shipment held up en route.
5. Make sure the vehicle can reach the shipment
The shipment must be packed and ready at a vehicle-accessible location. LT–UK runs normally have one driver. If you need two people, carrying upstairs or furniture dismantling, agree this before arrival. The driver can then work safely, without having to negotiate extra tasks on site.

Delivery timesLT–UK delivery usually takes 4–6 calendar days. We collect UK-bound shipments in Lithuania on Tuesday and Wednesday, and collect and deliver in the United Kingdom from Friday to Sunday. Shipments returning to Lithuania are delivered on Wednesday and Thursday. The exact date is known only once the final route is planned. Discuss document requirements and additional work before booking.
